Forensic technician / Author / TV profile
Eva B. Ragde is one of Norway's most experienced forensic scientists and a police superintendent at the Forensic Science Section in the Oslo Police District. In 1992, she became the first female forensic scientist in the capital, and has since been a pillar in the development of the field. She has worked on some of the most demanding and serious cases in Norwegian criminal history, including the terrorist attack on July 22 and several murder cases.
In 2020, she published the book At the scene – the hunt for evidence , together with crime writer Trude Teige. The book provides a unique insight into how a forensic scientist works at a crime scene, and later became the TV series Eva bak sperringene on Discovery+.
In 2023, she participated in the reality series Forræder on TV 2, where she became known for her calm and analytical approach to the game. She was referred to as "the bitch on the field" by her fellow cast members, and was eliminated after 24 episodes.
Eva B. Ragde is known for her professional integrity, her ability to keep a cool head under pressure, and her dedication to finding the truth – no matter how demanding it may be.
