Eirik Hvattum Bjørnstad

Eirik is best known as the character Jens (or han høye) from Hvite Gutter, where he wrote and starred for 7 seasons. In the last season he also served as director, and the series was nominated for the Gullrute for best comedy drama a total of 5 times.

He has also written and directed the TV series Knekt (HBO) and Bausjen (MAX), together with the rest of the gang from Hvite Gutter. In addition, he has written for Nytt på Nytt (NRK) and Else Kåss Furuseth. Eirik is a director with extensive production experience, especially in comedy and low-budget formats. He delivers efficiently, shoots precisely, and actively contributes to elevating scripts under direction – especially with comedic timing and scene development.

He has a strong understanding of scripts, and is good at cutting and sharpening before shooting. On set, he is clear, solution-oriented, and builds a safe space for actors to perform. With a background as a football coach, he has a natural ability to lead teams and bring out the best in people.

In addition to assignments related to film and TV, Eirik is also available for assignments as a conference host or entertainer – either alone or together with the Hvite Gutter gang. Eirik is genuine, warm, funny and professional, and lives to deliver!
